I had such a wonderful, surprise delivery yesterday! My dear friend knows that I love soup and that split pea soup is absolutely one of my favorites! I rarely make it because I am the only one in my family who loves it. Well, you can imagine how excited I was to receive a text saying to go and check my mailbox for a special delivery and find homemade split pea soup!
I enjoyed this delicious split pea soup for lunch yesterday and I just had another yummy bowl for lunch today. I am so very blessed to have such thoughtful, loving and generous friends. Those friendships have really helped me through this trying year. Homemade gifts of love are the best kind to receive. Especially when they are a surprise like this! Keep on spreading love and joy! And thank you to my thoughtful friend for this very special gift.
