A visit to Annapolis…

October 2, 2022

"Let's find some beautiful places to get lost together." -Unknown

I am so thankful for a quick getaway with my husband to one of our favorite towns last week- Annapolis, Maryland. We have only been there for lacrosse tournaments and it is a town that we have always wanted to explore. I just love the history of that town and enjoyed learning even more during our visit. We parked our car and explored the town by foot for a few nights.

We stayed in a beautiful historic inn and enjoyed walking along the beautiful streets and exploring the United States Naval Academy. I highly recommend visiting the U.S. Naval Academy Museum. We ate lots of crab based meals while we checked out the taverns, pubs and dockside bars. And we even took a ghost walk of the town one night.

I love how we walked 6 miles one day and didn't even realize it. I wasn't ready to leave this quaint, beautiful town and can't wait to go back!

Have you ever been to Annapolis?

The Naval Academy Chapel...

Inside of the Chapel...

Crab salad sandwich with crab soup for lunch at McGarvey's...

And look at this flower stand!

Maryland State House at night...

Beautiful flowers and window boxes were everywhere...

Ego Alley...

A perfect place to enjoy a waterside beer and watch the boats come in...

Chesapeake Deviled Eggs on a bed of bacon crumbles! So delicious

A trip to Annapolis was just what we needed! I can't wait to go back there again!

Cheers,

Kir
