One of my favorite parts of the Christmas season is going to cut our tree down. We always go to the Christmas tree farm right down the street from us. The best part about this farm is that every single tree is only $40, no matter how tall it is. So this year, we were determined to get our moneys worth and find a REALLY big tree. We were joking that it did not have to be "perfect". It had to be "$40 perfect". Such a deal!
Well , we found our Christmas tree at the very bottom of the hill and cut it down. My three sons got the biggest workout carrying our tree up that hill. And it almost didn't even fit on the top of my minivan. I cannot even guess how tall it is but I love it! Our Christmas tree in its stand now and we cannot wait to decorate it!
Don't you just love the smell of fresh evergreen in your house?! It is one of my favorite scents!
