I am hanging on to every last minute of summer! For this last Friday before school starts, I decided to make a special and elegant "Friday Night Cocktail" - an Aperol Orange Martini.
Aperol is an Italian bitters aperitif liqueur that has a wonderful orange flavor. Most people have heard of an Aperol Spritz cocktail but this special liqueur is just perfect for a martini too! It makes such a light and refreshing, cold martini. Cheers to every last minute of summer and the fun that it brings!
Aperol Orange Martini
Ingredients:
Ice Cubes
Cocktail Shaker
1 1/2 oz. Aperol Liqueur
1 1/2 oz. Vodka
Orange Wedges
Fill a cocktail shaker with ice cubes.
Add the Aperol and Vodka to the cocktail shaker.
Place the lid on the cocktail shaker and shake it well so that the martini is nice and chilled.
Strain into a martini glass, garnish with an orange wedge and enjoy.
