This is one of my most favorite seasonal sangria recipes! It is perfect for all of your fall festivities. The cider pairs great with the red wine, pears and apples. And the frozen cranberries help to keep it chilled, without diluting the delicious flavors. Plus I have one special ingredient that adds a perfect kick.
You will love this one! It is an amazing fall drink that is perfect for an autumn gathering with friends and family. Cheers to a wonderful weekend!
Apple Cider Sangria
Ingredients:
1 bottle of red wine (any kind will work)
1 cup vodka
3 1/2 cups apple cider
2 pears, sliced
1 red apple, sliced
1 Granny Smith apple, sliced
1 1/2 cups of frozen cranberries
Optional: cinnamon stick as a garnish
Add the red wine, vodka and apple cider to a pitcher and stir.
Add the sliced apples and pears to the pitcher.
Stir and refrigerate for at least an hour before serving. The longer it sits, the more that the flavors will come together.
When you are ready to serve the sangria, add the frozen cranberries and stir.
Pour into a wine glass and enjoy.
Garnish with a cinnamon stick.
I love to make a big pitcher of this sangria! Everyone always loves it!
This Apple Cider Fall Sangria is the perfect sangria to enjoy from October, all of the way through the holiday season. The colors are so festive and the combination of flavors are just perfect together. Cheers!
Could this work with a white wine? Thinking for Thanksgiving and have family members that don’t like red.
