Celebrating 21 years of Marriage...

Updated: May 15, 2021

May 14, 2021

I have always loved the spontaneous heart that our friends and family formed around us as we said "I do", 21 years ago today. Our wedding day was a day that I will never forget! I loved each and every part of it!

We wanted a simple destination wedding that everyone could enjoy. So we decided to rent a beach house in the Outer Banks of North Carolina to host an intimate beach wedding with 74 of our closest friends and family. Many ended up renting nearby houses and we celebrated all week long.

I cannot believe that 21 years have gone by. I remember being so thankful to be marrying the love of my life. I loved feeling the warmth of the sun from above, the waves coming in along the shore and the love that surrounded us by our dear friends and family as we said our vows! I am so thankful for that special day, with amazing weather! And I am so thankful to be just as in love and happy 21 years later!

Here are some pictures from our wedding day...

I have always loved blue and white china. I did all of the flowers for our wedding and selected white tulips to go in these blue and white Delft vases for our centerpieces...

All of our guests received flip flops to wear down to the ceremony on the beach...

The lemonade and water station...

Our first dance was to Frank Sinatra's "Fly Me to the Moon"...

It was time to celebrate...

The food was amazing!!

And featured a pasta bar where the chef would cook up your own pasta creation...

A casual beach wedding was just what I always wanted. Who doesn't love a celebration with red Solo cups?!

And the cake was just how I dreamed it would look...

It was the wedding of my dreams and a day that I will never forget!
