Pigs in a blanket - a classic and timeless appetizer that is always the hit of a party. It’s football season and these are my “go to” for game days!
I always make these when we have parties "for the kids" but of course the adults are the ones who always love them too! How could you not? These are so delicious and such a classic!
Classic Pigs in a Blanket
Ingredients:
1 (14 oz.) package of Lit'l Smokies Sausages
2 (8oz) refrigerated tubes of crescent rolls
Separate the crescent rolls into their triangles.
Cut each triangle into thirds so that now you have three thin triangles.
Place a sausage at the wide end of the triangle and roll it in the dough so that it is wrapped nicely.
Place onto a parchment paper lined sheet pan.
Repeat until they are all rolled up and are on on the sheet pan.
Bake at 375 degrees for 17 to 20 minutes, until nice and golden.
Serve warm with mustard and ketchup.
And fresh out of the oven…
These are a "classic" for a reason! And it’s the perfect appetizer to make for your favorite football games! They are a perfect party food!
