Are you looking for a special Spring looking cocktail to enjoy on Mother's Day?
A Cosmopolitan is the one! Look at this beautiful pink color! Also known as a "Cosmo". A feminine cocktail that was made famous by Carrie Bradshaw on Sex and the City. It's a classic! I love the fresh lime and cranberry juice together. It's a perfect light tasting cocktail! And it's perfect for a special Mother's Day drink. Cheers!
Cosmopolitan Cocktail
(Makes one cocktail)
Ingredients:
1 oz. Lime Juice, freshly squeezed
1 tsp Sugar
1 oz. Cranberry juice
Splash of Triple Sec
2 oz. Vodka
Ice Cubes
Optional: Lime Slice for garnish
Stir together the lime juice, cranberry juice and sugar in a cocktail shaker until the sugar is dissolved.
Fill the shaker with ice cubes.
Add the Vodka and Triple Sec.
Shake the shaker well and strain into a martini glass. Garnish with a lime, if desired. Cheers!
Note: If you do not have a cocktail shaker, a Mason Jar works great for this too!
