I made these for the NCAA final four games last night and I was so excited that we had some leftover for today's lunch! Such a treat!
Have you ever had this classic appetizer? It is one of my favorites and it is a perfect party food. The crescent roll makes the best crust for the herb cream cheese and fresh chopped veggies! It goes with just about everything and it is a great way to use up any veggies that you may have in your fridge. This easy appetizer is always the hit of the party! I love it and you will too!
Crescent Roll Cold Veggie Pizza
Ingredients:
1 (8oz.) can crescent roll
6 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/4 cup mayonnaise
1 (0.7 oz.) Italian dressing seasoning mix
Peppers, finely diced
Celery, finely diced
Carrots, shredded
Broccoli, chopped
Unroll the crescent roll onto a sheet pan, lined with parchment paper.
Pinch the seams together on the crescent roll.
Bake at 375 degrees for about 12-14 minutes, until it is golden.
Allow the crust to cool completely. About 30 minutes.
Mix together the cream cheese, mayonnaise and Italian dressing mix in a mixer until it is nice and smooth.
Spread the cream cheese mixture onto the cooked crescent roll crust.
Top with your chopped veggies. All veggies taste delicious on this and anything goes.
Cut into squares and keep chilled until you are ready to serve.
Fresh out of the oven...
After it cools completely, spread the cream cheese mixture on it...
And top with your chopped veggies...
Slice into squares...
And enjoy!
Look at those beautiful, colorful and crisp veggies on top of the herb cream cheese crust! This is truly one of my favorites! A classic appetizer that is perfect for any occasion!
