Crispy and Cheesy Burrito Recipe using Slow Cooker Fiesta Chicken
February 11, 2021
My family absolutely loves the Slow Cooker Fiesta Chicken recipe that I posted yesterday. Their favorite way to eat them is in a crispy burrito with cheese. And then smothered in a warm queso. Can you blame them? What could be better than that? Here's how I make them...
Crispy and Cheesy Fiesta Chicken Buritto:
Slow Cooker Fiesta Chicken (please scroll all the way down to the bottom for this recipe)
Cheddar cheese, shredded
Queso, warmed up
Optional garnish: Cilantro
Place a flour tortilla on a plate.
Put a layer of shredded cheese in the center of the tortilla.
Add a big layer of the Slow Cooker Fiesta Chicken on top of the cheese.
Top the Fiesta Chicken with some more cheddar cheese.
Fold the tortilla in on two sides.
Roll up the tortilla so that a burrito is formed.
Melt butter in a skillet, over medium high heat.
Place the burrito into the skillet and cook for a few minutes until that side is nice and golden.
Flip the burrito and cook for a few minutes on the other side, until it is golden. Add more butter, if needed.
Once both sides are nice and golden, remove the burrito and place onto your plate.
Top the burrito with warm queso and garnish with cilantro, if you would like.
My boys love when we have these cheesy and crispy chicken burritos for dinner! And I love how easy they are to make. It is a winner for all!!
