Dill Havarti Cheese Toast

Sometimes the simplest of foods can make the best meals. Growing up, my mom's dear friend would make this for us for lunch. To this day, it is still one of my favorite lunches ever! I love the crusty bread with the flavorful and gooey, hot cheese that melts into the bubble holes of the bread. Pair it with a salad and you have one easy and perfect meal that takes just minutes to throw together!


Dill Havarti Cheese Toast

Ingredients:

1 slice of your favorite bread (I love Italian or Sourdough bread)

Dill Havarti Cheese, sliced thin


Simply line a sheet pan with parchment paper. Place your bread on the pan and put the cheese slices on top. Place the pan in the oven and broil until the bread is nice and golden and then cheese is bubbly. Keep an eye on it as it cooks fast. Enjoy while it is nice and hot.


I know this isn't really a "recipe" but it IS amazing!


Yum! Just one bite of this Dill Havarti Cheese Toast takes me right back to my childhood. It was my favorite lunch back then and I still absolutely love it!
