This is one of my favorites! I love summertime salads - when lettuce and vegetables are at their best! I have never really liked the taste of store bought dressings. So when I first started cooking, this basic Balsamic Vinaigrette was the first thing that I made sure that I mastered. It is so easy and you probably have everything right in your pantry. So get out your Mason Jars and mix this fresh vinaigrette up!
Easy Homemade Balsamic Vinaigrette
Ingredients:
1/3 cup balsamic vinegar
2/3 cup olive oil
1-2 tbsp Dijon mustard (depending on your preference. I love it so I do 2 tbsp)
1 tsp Kosher salt
1/2 tsp fresh cracked pepper
Simply put all of the ingredients into a Mason Jar, screw the lid on and give it a good shake. Serve this Balsamic Vinaigrette over your favorite salad.
This homemade dressing is so easy to make and it is incredibly delicious! Plus it makes a great marinade for chicken and vegetable kebabs too! You will never want store bought dressing again after trying this!
