Sometimes the yummiest of foods can also be the easiest to make! With simple ingredients! I was one of four kids growing up and we hardly ever went out for dinner. When we did, I would always order these English Muffin Pizzas. I remember my mom always telling me to pick something else off of the menu because they were so easy to make at home. But I couldn't help it. I love them and still do to this day.
Thankfully my boys love them just as much as I do!! It honestly is the easiest meal! And with the craziness of 7 sports team's schedules and virtual learning, this mama needed a quick meal! And this is such an inexpensive meal to make too! My boys are already asking when I can make these again. Yay!! Score for this mom!
English Muffin Pizzas
1 pack of English Muffins, cut in half
1/2 jar of marinara sauce (12 oz.)
8 oz. mozzarella cheese, shredded
Preheat the oven to 400 degrees.
While the oven is warming up, place your English muffins on a parchment line sheet pan, cut side up.
Spoon some marinara sauce onto each English muffin half.
Top with the mozzarella cheese.
Sprinkle some basil over top of the English muffin pizzas.
Bake at 400 degrees for about 12 to 15 minutes, until the cheese is golden and bubbly.
Don't you just love a simple, healthy and quick meal like this?! Perfect for a quick lunch or dinner! I love the way that the English muffin crisps up and the sauce and the cheese melts into it. So yummy!!
