Everything Bagel, Bacon, Egg and Cheese Breakfast Casserole

This easy "make ahead" breakfast casserole is perfect for an easy breakfast. Or for anytime when you want a delicious breakfast that you can prepare the night before. Then you just have to pop it in the oven the next morning. And voila! Breakfast is served!


The bacon, eggs and cheese go together so great with the everything bagels. It's like the flavor of a breakfast sandwich without all of the work! And with these crazy egg prices, this is a great breakfast recipe to stretch out the eggs and feed a lot of people.

Everything Bagel, Bacon, Egg and Cheese Breakfast Casserole

Ingredients:

6 "Everything" bagels, halved

8 eggs, beaten

2 cups milk

2 tbsp Worchestershire sauce

1 package of bacon, diced and cooked

8 oz. block of cheddar cheese, shredded

1 tsp "Everything" bagel seasoning

Fresh cracked pepper and salt to taste


  1. Spray a 9x13" casserole dish with cooking spray.

  2. Dice up your bagels into small pieces and divide into two.

  3. Add half of your bagel pieces into a single layer in the dish.

  4. Top the bagels with a layer of half of the cheese and half of the bacon.

  5. Repeat with another layer of bagel, cheese and bacon.

  6. Repeat with another layer of bagel, cheese and bacon.

  7. In a medium bowl, whisk together the egg, milk, Worchestershire sauce, salt and pepper to taste.

  8. Ladle the egg mixture over the casserole. Try to make sure that it covers the whole casserole well.

  9. Sprinkle the "Everything" bagel seasoning on top of the casserole.

  10. Cover with plastic wrap and refrigerate until you are ready to bake it.

  11. When ready to eat, bake, uncovered at 350 degrees for about 40 to 45 minutes, until puffed and golden.


Please note that you can cover and refrigerate the unbaked casserole overnight or up to 24 hours. Then you just have to pop it in the oven the next morning. It is the perfect breakfast for guests and holidays!

Spray your casserole dish and place a layer with half of your diced up bagels...

Add a layer of half of your shredded cheese and cooked bacon...

And repeat. Add the rest of your bagels and your cheese and bacon...

Mix up your egg mixture...

And ladle over the casserole...

It's ready to go into the oven!
