This time of year I love to make my own fresh Crostini. It is perfect for all of the fresh tastes of summer - like tomato bruschetta or bean bruschetta! Or even a delicious cheese spread. Crostini is so easy to make at home!
Fast and Easy Garlic Crostini
Fresh baguette, sliced thinly
1/2 cup Olive oil
2 Garlic cloves, smashed
1/8 tsp kosher salt
Preheat the oven to 350 degrees.
Place the baguette slices onto a cookie sheet.
In a small saucepan, add the olive oil, garlic and salt.
Cook on medium until you can smell the garlic, about 4 minutes.
Lightly brush garlic infused olive oil onto both sides of the baguette slices.
Bake for 4 minutes. Flip and bake for an additional 4 minutes. Or until golden.
Allow to cool completely and store in an airtight container or Ziploc bag until you are ready to use it.
Wasn't that a breeze?! Just think of all of the amazing things that you can top this Crostini with?!
