Do you want a delicious vegetable side dish that won't steam up the kitchen this summer? Then this recipe is for you! The best part is that you won't have any pots and pans to wash when you are done. These green beans with tomatoes take minutes to make and are fancy enough to serve to guests at your next dinner party. It is one of our favorite campfire side dishes but you can cook it the same way on your grill when you are grilling dinner at home. So easy and delicious!
Grilled Garlicky Green Beans with Tomatoes
Ingredients:
1 package of French green beans, washed
1 to 2 cloves of garlic, minced
2 cups grape tomatoes, halved
3 tbsp butter
Salt and pepper to taste
Aluminum foil
Get a good campfire going or light up the grill.
Take a large piece of foil and place the green beans and tomatoes on it.
Add the minced garlic and 3 pats of butter.
Season with salt and pepper to taste.
Place another piece of foil on top and crimp the edged to make a tight foil pocket.
Place on the grill rack and grill for about 10 minutes, or until the tomatoes have wilted and the green beans are tender.
Such a fresh tasting vegetable side dish! You have to try it! And no clean up is the best!
