Grilled Prosciutto Wrapped Peaches with Goat Cheese

I know...this may not be the prettiest appetizer out there but it certainly is the most delicious one! I cannot get enough of the fresh and flavorful peaches this year! They have been amazing! So I decided to pair the sweetness of the peach with the salty prosciutto and goat cheese and put it on the grill. They are incredible! The peaches become extra sweet, the cheese melts and the prosciutto gets nice and crispy. You will love this quick and delicious appetizer!


Grilled Prosciutto Wrapped Peaches with Goat Cheese

Ingredients:

Fresh peaches, quartered

Prosciutto, thinly sliced

Goat cheese

Toothpicks


  1. Soak the toothpicks in water. This will keep them from burning on the grill.

  2. Place a spoonful of goat cheese where the pit used to be in the peach quarter.

  3. Wrapped the goat cheese filled peach with a piece of prosciutto and secure it with a toothpick.

  4. Repeat until all of the peaches are wrapped in prosciutto.

  5. Grill them for a few minutes a side, until the prosciutto gets nice and crispy and serve warm.










Like I said...it isn't the prettiest but my goodness is it delicious! I love the warm, melted goat cheese! This makes a wonderful appetizer or side dish. And it would be delicious on top of a salad too!
