Okay, I admit...I definitely had pumpkin fever this year. I think that I single handedly kept Pappy's Pumpkin Patch in business this fall. I just could not drive by and not pick up another pumpkin or two. I love pumpkins and gourds in the fall!! I love everything about them!
Since it is time to start decorating for Christmas, I decided to put all of my pumpkins into my garden cart and find a perfect spot for a pumpkin patch of my own. I found a perfect clearing at the edge of the woods for them. These pumpkins will decompose over the winter and absorb into the ground. And with any luck, I hope to see some pumpkin sprouts next spring and pumpkins toward the end of the summer. How fun would that be?! Our very own pumpkin patch! I cannot wait to watch them grow! Wish me luck!
