This summer is my first attempt at a patio garden. Usually we are away on a long road trip for a big part of the summer. So in years past, I just did pots of herbs and tomatoes. Knowing that it was looking like we would be home for the summer, I decided to plant a patio garden.
I am so glad that I did! In this tiny patio plot, I planted 4 tomato plants, 3 pepper plants, 1 zucchini plant and 1 cucumber plant. I love to go outside everyday to watch them grow. I love watching the vegetable flowers sprout. I love how the cucumber's spirals are trying to grab onto everything on my patio - even my chair. And I love seeing the beginnings of our harvest. Growing a patio garden this year has been so rewarding. I can't wait to be able to eat those delicious vegetables!
