They called it "Home Ec" back in my day at school. Now this class is called "Family Consumer Science". Whatever you call it, I think that is is such a great class for kids these days. My 13 year old son loves that class. Tonight he had to make a "well rounded" meal for dinner. So he made his favorite meal - spaghetti with meatballs and sausage. Dinner was so delicious and I loved watching him in the kitchen. I am definitely giving tonight's meal two thumbs up! And I am thankful for the leftovers that we will eat tomorrow. Tomorrow we get to sleep in and take a night off of cooking...now that is a great way to start the week!
Honestly, didn't he do a great job?! It was so delicious!!
