Old Bay Hot Crab Dip

To me the holiday season is all about appetizers and desserts. I really do not even care about the main dishes. To me, this is a month of grazing. And I just adore appetizers!! This recipe is one of my tried and true favorites! It is always a hit and it comes out perfectly every time! The best part is that this elegant hot crab dip is made from an inexpensive can of crab meat. Trust me...this recipe is ALWAYS a party favorite!! Even if this years Christmas party is only with our immediate family, we deserve it! It is SO good!


Old Bay Hot Crab Dip

Ingredients: 1 (8 oz.) package of cream cheese, softened 1/4 cup mayonnaise 2 tbsp white wine 1 tsp lemon juice 1/4 tsp onion powder 1/4 tsp garlic powder 1 1/2 tsp Worchestershire sauce 2 (6 oz.) cans white crabmeat, drained 2 green onions, diced Fresh cracked pepper Old Bay Baguette, sliced

  1. In a mixer combine the room temperature cream cheese, mayonnaise, white wine, lemon juice, onion powder, garlic powder and Worchestershire sauce. Mix until everything is combined and smooth.

  2. Add fresh cracked pepper to taste.

  3. Fold in the crabmeat and green onions with a spatula.

  4. Spray a pie pan with cooking spray.

  5. Spread the crabmeat mixture into the prepared dish.

  6. Sprinkle the top with Old Bay seasoning.

  7. Bake at 375 degrees for 20 minutes, until it is golden and bubbly.


Serve this dip hot with slices of baguette or crackers.
