Everyone has their own go to comfort food meal. Pasta Alfredo has always been mine. My mother made this for us all of the time growing up and I always loved it. Thankfully my boys love this Pasta Alfredo recipe as much as I do. And now, as a mom, I love how simple, inexpensive and fast it is to make. And you probably have everything in your refrigerator and pantry to make it. A family favorite for sure!
Pasta Alfredo
Ingredients:
1 lb pasta, cooked and drained (can use any pasta)
4 tbsp butter
1 garlic clove, minced
3/4 cup whole milk (can sub heavy cream if you would like)
3/4 to 1 cup Parmesan cheese
Pinch of salt
Lots of fresh ground pepper
Melt the butter over medium heat in a large skillet.
Add the garlic and cook for 1 minute.
Add the milk and stir until the milk is warm.
Add the cooked pasta and toss.
Add the salt, pepper and Parmesan cheese.
Toss until the pasta and sauce is combined and serve warm.
Comfort food on a plate! My favorite! Wasn't that quick and easy to make?
