I cannot believe that Christmas is just one week away! This month flew by! The recent snow that we had really is putting me in the Christmas spirit! So tonight's "Friday Night Cocktail" has all of my favorite flavors of Christmas in a martini glass!! If you love peppermint and chocolate together, then you are going to absolutely love this cocktail! It tastes just like a Peppermint Pattie! It is such a festive drink and is the perfect cocktail for the holidays! Cheers to a fun weekend!!
Peppermint Pattie Holiday Cocktail
Ingredients:
Candy canes, crushed
Chocolate syrup
1 1/2 oz. Peppermint Schnapps
1 1/2 oz. Dark Crème de Cacao
2 oz. cream (or half and half)
Ice
Optional garnish: Peppermint Patties and a candy cane
Brush the rim of a martini glass with chocolate syrup and roll the glass rim into the crushed candy canes.
Drizzle some chocolate syrup into the martini glass.
Add the Peppermint Schnapps, Dark Crème de Cacao and cream to an ice filled cocktail shaker. A mason jar works great if you do not have a cocktail shaker.
Shake well and pour into your prepared martini glass.
Garnish with a mini Peppermint Pattie and a candy cane. Enjoy cold.
