We still have snow on the ground and my boys were out in our yard, sledding and snowboarding. I was making some hot chocolate for them when I realized that it is Friday and it's time for my "Friday Night Cocktail"! So I poured a mug of hot chocolate for me and added some special goodies. I am really enjoying my "spiked" hot chocolate. What a treat! I love peppermint and chocolate together. This yummy drink warmed me up in the most delicious way!
Peppermint Spiked Hot Chocolate for Adults
Ingredients:
2 oz. Peppermint Schnapps
Prepared Hot Chocolate
Optional garnishes: marshmallows, crushed candy canes or whipped cream
Simply pour the Peppermint Schnapps into a mug and top with hot chocolate. Stir and garnish with your favorite toppings. I love marshmallows in mine. Enjoy this tasty beverage hot!
