Pigs in a Blanket Appetizer

February 12, 2020

Pigs in a blanket - a classic and timeless appetizer that is always the hit of a party. I always make these when we have parties "for the kids" but of course the adults are the ones who always love them too! How could you not? These are so delicious and such an American classic!

I will be making these for the Super Bowl tomorrow - it's a Super Bowl tradition in our house!

Pigs in a Blanket Appetizer

Ingredients:

1 (14 oz.) package of Lit'l Smokies Sausages

2 (8oz) refrigerated tubes of crescent rolls

  1. Separate the crescent rolls into their triangles.

  2. Cut each triangle into thirds so that now you have three thin triangles.

  3. Place a sausage at the wide end of the triangle and roll it in the dough so that it is wrapped nicely.

  4. Place onto a parchment paper lined sheet pan.

  5. Repeat until they are all rolled up and are on on the sheet pan.

  6. Bake at 375 degrees for 17 to 20 minutes, until nice and golden.

  7. Serve warm with mustard and ketchup.

How could you resist this delicious appetizer?! I love them!
