Pimento Cheese and Bacon Jalapeño Poppers

I love pimento cheese! And I love the many ways that you can use it in different recipes. But this combination of flavors might be my favorite! Everyone always loves this delicious appetizer. It is impossible to eat just one! Plus they are so easy to make.


Pimento Cheese Bacon Jalapeño Poppers

Ingredients:

Pimento Cheese (store bought or see the link below for an easy homemade recipe)

Jalapeño peppers, halved

Bacon silces, cut in half

  1. Preheat your oven to 400 degrees.

  2. Take a spoon and scoop out the seeds from the jalapeño peppers. Don't touch your eyes! If you have even done this, you will never make that mistake twice (guilty!!).

  3. Line a cookie sheet with parchment paper.

  4. Fill each pepper half with a spoonful of pimento cheese.

  5. Wrap each pimento filled jalapeño half with bacon and secure with a toothpick.

  6. Bake it in the oven until the bacon is crispy. Approximately 25 minutes, depending on how thick your bacon is. Enjoy hot! So yummy!
