When looking at recipes for cocktails, you will often find "simple syrup" as an ingredient. Sure, you can buy it. But simple syrup is just as it is named...super "simple" to make! Here is how...
Simple Syrup
Ingredients:
1/2 cup sugar
1/2 cup water
Add the water and sugar to a small saucepan.
Stir over medium high heat.
Keep on stirring until the sugar completely dissolves and turns into a clear liquid - your simple syrup.
See!! Wasn't that simple syrup super simple to make?! You can easily double or triple this recipe.
Couldn't be easier! I store my simple syrup in a Mason jar in my refrigerator. You can store it like this for up to a month. Now let's find a good cocktail to make with it. Cheers!
