We had one crazy weekend with 4 basketball games, 1 flag football game and 4 lacrosse games. After not having sports last spring, I am loving every busy, sports filled minute!
Since I knew that we would be out all day yesterday, I made this Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken. It is a family favorite! Just throw it in your crock pot in the morning and then a yummy dinner is ready for you when you get home. So easy to make! It is a perfect filling for sandwiches, wraps and quesadillas. Or even on top of a salad! If you love buffalo chicken, you will love this super easy recipe!
Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken
Ingredients:
Cooking Spray
3 or 4 boneless chicken breasts
Garlic powder
Kosher salt and pepper to taste
1 (12 oz.) bottle of buffalo wing sauce
1/4 cup blue cheese or ranch dressing
Spray the bottom and sides of your slow cooker with cooking spray.
Place your chicken breasts into your slow cooker and sprinkle both sides with salt, pepper and garlic powder.
Pour your favorite bottle of buffalo chicken wing sauce over top. Make sure that all of the chicken is coated with sauce.
Put the lid on and cook it on low for 6 to 8 hours.
When you are ready to serve, take two forks and shred the chicken.
Add either blue cheese or ranch dressing and stir well.
Now you are ready to serve it however you would like!! There are so many different ways to enjoy this Slow Cooker Buffalo Chicken! I love it on a roll with blue cheese dressing and lettuce!
Wasn't this so easy to make? Plus you can double or triple this recipe and feed a crowd too. It is always a hit and my family loves it! You will too!
