Spicy Grilled Broccoli

It is a steamy hot day today and I feel like cooking an easy dinner that won't heat up my kitchen or house. So tonight I am going to cook our entire meal on the grill and make one of our favorites...Spicy Grilled Broccoli! Even my son who doesn't care much for broccoli loves it when I cook it this way! It gets a nice caramelized outside while the inside stays nice and tender. And it has the perfect amount of spice! If you have never tried grilling broccoli before, you must give this a try!


Spicy Grilled Broccoli

Ingredients: 1 large head of broccoli 1 1/2 tbsp olive oil 1/2 to 1 tsp Sriracha (depending on how spicy you want it)

1/4 tsp garlic powder 1/4 tsp kosher salt 1/8 tsp pepper 1/8 to 1/4 tsp red pepper flakes (depending on how spicy you want it)

  1. Chop off the broccoli florets into small pieces.

  2. Place the broccoli in a bowl and add the rest of the ingredients.

  3. Give a good toss to make sure that all of the broccoli is covered well.

  4. Fire up the grill and grill on a grill pan or a piece of foil.

  5. Make sure that you keep an eye on the broccoli and turn it frequently.

  6. You can tell when the Spicy Broccoli is done when it gets a good crispy char on it.






We are all trying to eat more healthy these days! This is a great way to get more greens into your diet! It is SO delicious! I highly recommend trying broccoli cooked like this! It really brings out such a great unique flavor!
