Hop into the New Year right with everyone's favorite party dip - Spicy Hot Sausage and Tomato Dip! This hot dip is always the hit of a party! I honestly do not know anyone who doesn't like it and it is so easy to make. What could be better? Perfect every time! And is delicious served with tortilla chips or veggie sticks. A perfect dip for your New Years Eve!
Spicy Hot Sausage and Tomato Dip
Ingredients:
1 lb.roll of hot pork sausage
1 (10 oz.) can of diced tomatoes with green chilies
1 (8 oz.) package of cream cheese, diced
1/4 tsp. garlic powder
1 to 2 green onions, diced
Fresh cracked pepper to taste
Paprika
Brown the sausage in a skillet, crumbling it into small pieces as you go.
Drain the fat out of the skillet.
Add the full can of diced tomatoes with green chilies and the cream cheese to the skillet. Stir until melted and well combined.
Add the pepper, garlic powder and green onions. Cook for a few minutes and stir until combined.
Pour into a pie dish and sprinkle with some paprika.
Serve hot right away or keep the dip warm in a mini crock pot. Or reheat this dip later, when ready to serve. This dip tastes best when it is nice and hot.
