Super Easy Homemade Cinnamon Rolls - made from store bought pizza dough!

Sure, you can make the dough from scratch but keep it easy with this recipe so that you can make them more often. Instead, with this super easy recipe, you just need refrigerated pizza dough from your grocery store!


Honestly, this is the easiest recipe ever! You will become known for your "famous homemade cinnamon rolls" with this quick recipe! Who doesn't love warm and gooey cinnamon rolls fresh from the oven? These are amazing! And they are perfect for Mother's Day!


Super Easy Homemade Cinnamon Rolls

Ingredients:

Store bought, 16 oz. refrigerated pizza dough

1/2 cup brown sugar

1 tsp cinnamon

4 tbsp butter, melted


Glaze Ingredients:

1 cup powdered sugar, sifted

1 tsp vanilla extract

1 tbsp milk


  1. Combine the brown sugar and cinnamon in a bowl and set aside.

  2. On a floured counter, roll out the pizza dough into a 16"x10" rectangle.

  3. Brush the melted butter onto the whole surface of the dough.

  4. Sprinkle the brown sugar mixture on top and spread out with the back of a spoon so that every part of the dough is covered.

  5. Roll up the dough into a log and cut it into 8 equal pieces.

  6. Spray a nonstick cake pan with cooking spray.

  7. Place the 8 pieces on their sides in the pan, so that you can see the cinnamon sugar swirls.

  8. Bake at 350 degrees for 35 minutes, until golden.

  9. While the cinnamon rolls are baking in the oven, whisk together the sifted powdered sugar, milk and vanilla to make your glaze.

  10. When the cinnamon rolls are done, spoon the glaze over top and enjoy warm.
