The 4th of July "Sparkler Cocktail" - Blueberry Prosecco

Happy 4th of July weekend! An important and special holiday like this calls for a very special cocktail! This "Sparkler Cocktail" is the perfect refreshing drink for a hot summer night! The frozen blueberries and raspberries keep this cocktail super cold. And the bubbles of the crisp Prosecco mixed with the sweet taste of blueberries are the perfect way to toast to the 4th of July! Cheers friends!


Sparkler Cocktail - Blueberry Prosecco

Ingredients: 3/4 cup blueberries 3/4 cup water 3/4 cup sugar Bottle Prosecco, chilled Frozen blueberries Frozen raspberries

  1. Make your blueberry simple syrup by adding the blueberries, water and sugar into a saucepan.

  2. Cook over medium high heat until the sugar is fully dissolved and the blueberries are just starting to pop.

  3. Pour the simple syrup through a sieve the strain the blueberries from the simple syrup.

  4. Store the blueberry simple syrup in the refrigerator so that is it nice and cold.

  5. Add 2 tbsp of the chilled blueberry simple syrup to a champagne flute.

  6. Add a few frozen blueberries and raspberries to the flute.

  7. Top off the glass with your chilled Prosecco and give it a stir.
