We love guacamole!! But as you know, it turns brown quickly when it is exposed to the air for too long. A great way to keep it from turning color is by placing a piece of plastic wrap directly on top of the surface of the guacamole. And then seal off the edges on the sides of the bowl. You want to keep all of the air out! It works great!
Now it will stay fresh and green until you are ready to serve it!
This never happens in my house. Ever! But if you still have some guacamole leftover, place it into a Ziploc bag, squeeze the air out and store in the freezer. Then just defrost when you are ready to eat it. Super easy! And nothing goes to waste!
