United States of America Flag Cake

Happy Flag Day! Are you looking for an easy, yet beautiful dessert to celebrate?! A dessert that is so easy that even the kids can make it? Take a few shortcuts to keep it easy and you can whip up this beautiful cake in no time.


This United States of America Flag Cake is sure to be a dessert that everyone will remember! Perfect for all patriotic holidays! And it would be a perfect dessert for the 4th of July!


United States of America Flag Cake

Ingredients:

Box of vanilla cake mix (with requested ingredients)

Frozen whipped cream topping, defrosted

Pint of blueberries

2 (12 oz.) packages of raspberries


  1. Mix together the cake batter according to the directions.

  2. Line a 9x13" dish with parchment paper, cutting the corners with scissors.

  3. Spray the parchment paper with cooking spray.

  4. Pour the batter into the prepared dish.

  5. Bake according to the directions on the box or until a toothpick comes out clean when inserted.

  6. Allow to cool fully in the dish.

  7. Line the outsides of your serving platter with foil or parchment paper. This will keep the platter clean when you frost the cake.

  8. Carefully transfer the cake onto the serving platter.

  9. Take your defrosted whipped cream topping and frost all sides of the cake.

  10. Carefully remove the foil or parchment paper.

  11. Take the blueberries and make the stars part of the flag.

  12. Continue decorating the cake by finishing by making 7 red stripes with the raspberries.
