Since I am not a fan of leftovers, I love to transform them into a whole different meal! Here is Meal #2 from the Spicy Cowboy Chili! Having my 3 hungry and growing teenage boys home over quarantine, it feels like I am living in the kitchen sometimes. I love to cook but I also love to make it easy! So I recently started to cook our hotdogs in the air fryer. What an easy and quick way to make hot dogs! They are cooked just the way that kids like them, with no charred grill marks. And you can feed the masses and make a ton of them this way for your next party! Here is how...
Air Fryer Chili Cheese Hotdogs
Ingredients:
Leftover Spicy Cowboy Chili (see previous post for recipe), reheated
Hotdogs
Cheddar cheese, shredded
Hotdog rolls
Cut diagonal slits on two sides of the hotdogs
Put the hotdogs on your air fryer basket and cook at 375 degrees for 10 minutes. They come out perfectly this way!
Take your hotdog roll and add your hotdog.
Top your hotdog with warm chili and lots of cheddar cheese.
Enjoy warm!! One of my favorites!!
Original Chili Recipe from Meal #1:
It is funny because when I was pregnant with one of my boys, I craved chili cheese dogs constantly. I will always love them!! This is the reason why I always double my chili recipe! Who doesn't love a quick and easy dinner, made with the leftovers, that the whole family will love!
