Sometimes the simplest of recipes are the best! Just like good old fashioned egg salad! A classic favorite - that is delicious on bread, on a cracker or scooped over a bed of lettuce. It just always hits the spot!
And this simple recipe feeds the masses at such a low cost! Especially since I just picked up a loaf of bread for only .50 and a dozen eggs for .78! I also add some unique ingredients so that I don't have put in that much mayonnaise. This is my husband's most favorite lunch ever! I will have a very happy house today with this classic egg salad!
Egg Salad
Ingredients:
10 hard boiled eggs, chopped
2 tbsp relish
4 dashes of Worchestershire sauce
1/2 cup mayonnaise
1/2 to 3/4 tsp celery salt
Fresh cracked pepper to taste
Place the chopped eggs in a bowl and add the relish and Worchestershire sauce. Stir until combined.
Add the mayonnaise, celery salt and pepper and stir until combined.
Chill the egg salad until you are ready to serve.
Honestly, there is nothing better than a good old fashioned egg salad sandwich!!
