I love taking the fresh, sweet summer taste of peaches and add it to the rich fall flavor of brussel sprouts. Here is a delicious and quick way to cook brussel sprouts. You will love it! The peach and balsamic coating caramelized perfectly when you grill or roast them, giving the brussel sprouts a perfect balance of sweetness with savory. Even if you think that you don't like brussel sprouts, you have to try this recipe. These Peach Balsamic Glazed Brussel Sprouts are fool proof and come out perfect every time!
Peach Balsamic Glazed Brussel Sprouts
Ingredients:
1 lb. bag of brussel sprouts
1/4 cup peach jam (please see the homemade recipe below if you'd like to try that)
1 tbsp balsamic vinegar
2 tbsp olive oil
Cut off the corner of your bag of brussel sprouts and microwave them for 5 minutes.
Mix together the peach jam, balsamic vinegar and olive oil in a mason jar. Shake well.
Let the brussel sprouts cool and carefully cut open the bag.
Pour the brussel sprouts onto a cutting board and cut each one in half.
Put the Brussel sprouts into a bowl.
Pour the peach mixture over top and season with salt and pepper to taste.
Toss well.
Now you can either cook these Brussel sprouts on the grill or roast them in the oven, cut side down, at 400 degrees for about 15 to 20 minutes. Cook until they start to caramelize.
